Good day readers! Today I am posting to talk about the overhaul that has been done on the My Courses section of LMScheckout in the store view. Before the changes, users were presented with an unorganized list of all the courses they had ever enrolled in with a few options allowing them to view, rate or share a course. A few details were listed such as a course description, last date accessed, date completed and results for that course. You can see several images below in the first carousel depicting the old view for the My Courses section of LMScheckout.

The new view has been updated so that all enrolled courses are listed in an expandable list with column headers to sort by course name, start date, last accessed and progress. A course can be clicked on to expand a list of options and details pertaining to that course, such as a course description, a Rate This Course feature allowing users to rate a course from 1-5 stars and leave a written review, and a Share This Course option allowing users to share the course through social media, email or via embedded code. The new view includes everything the old view had, with the addition of the search and filter options in the top right hand corner. These new options will allow users to quickly and easily sift through all their courses based on the search and filter perimeters they choose. Users can do a refined search with the “Match all terms” options or a broad search with the “Match any term” option. This is similar to the google search function of using quotation marks versus no quotation marks. The filter options include all courses, current courses and completed courses. The final change is the Launch button, which is the same as the old View This Course button, just with a new look and description. Below you can see a carousel of images depicting the updated view for the My Courses section.

We hope you like the updates to the My Courses section of LMScheckout and we’d enjoy hearing your opinions about areas you believe we can improve.
